Hey everyone! I hope someone can help me out with this. I know that my store manager printed out my first employee discount barcode, but that one expired and I figured it's time to print a new one so I can get my usual coffee after a shift. I can't seem to figure where I'm supposed to go to print of my barcode though. Can anyone help me out with this? A shift manager told me I had to do it on my home computer and go to bninside, but I just didn't understand. Thanks!

That went bad quickly
I worked for B&N for almost 8 years. Although I am no longer with the company I am actually glad I got to experience everything I did. At one point I wanted to grow and make this company part of my career but again location, location, location!! Not all stores are created equally and like any company it's who is inside those walls is what creates the experience. I would never trade in my experience for the world as it has prepared me for my career today. In my career there I had some great store managers and managements teams and some not so great. The company could use a refresher on how to manage people course (as I was a manager I can speak on this, as I could have used this as well, DM's especially!!!) my advice is make the most out of it, learn as much from those that are willing to teach and seek it as an opportunity to meet life long friends, I know I did and I have. Is it the best job in the world? probably not, but trust me it could be a lot worse. Grass isn't always greener on the other side, it's where you water it.
